Waist to chest out back, feathering on the outside bar and sometimes rolling through. Winds sw around 10 forecast to increase throughout the morning. Looked like some drift to the east, but not nearly as bad as last sunday.
The front is slowing down but we are looking at some storms around noon to one before the winds go offshore somewhere in the early afternoon. Right now the waves at both the near and far buoy are around 5 ft 7seconds and on the increase, hopefully they get bigger as the winds pick up in advance of the front.
Quick tip of the day, spread out. Last sunday afternoon I checked almost every avenue and beach access on pensacola beach, the best waves I saw and surfed were nowhere near the normal spots where everyone bunches up. The sand moves and so do the sandbars. So get out there, find a sandbar, and spend some time in the green room to start your weekend.
